STETE's seminars and conferences STETE promotes both, a national and
an international (Baltic Sea wide) discussion on security issues at
large by organising seminars and conferences on actual topics.
One of STETE's most important tasks is to co-ordinate the work of the Nordic Forum for Security Policy, a group for Nordic-Baltic discussion in the spirit of security in a wider sense. Designed as a place where parliamentarians and politicians can meet unofficially with researchers, experts, NGO-representatives and journalists the Forum has emerged as one of the leading forums for informal dialogue on security issues within the Baltic Sea region. Last Nordic Forum was held in 2010 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The next Nordic Forum will be held in 2012. Seminars 2010 |
