Future of Kosovo and the Balkan Puzzle
STETE organised a seminar Future of Kosovo and the Balkan Puzzle 9 October, 2006 at 9.00-12.00 in the Auditorium of the Finnish Parliament main building. In the seminar issues concernig the Balkans and especially Kosovo were discussed. The keynote speech of the seminar was delivered by UN Special Envoy, President Martti Ahtisaari.

Nordic Forum for Security Policy which is co-ordinated by STETE organised a broad-based discussion forum
Models for Cross-border Co-operation - focus on the Pskov Region in Pskov, Russia 19-20 May, 2006 in co-operation with the local parters NGO Chudskoe Project from Pskov and CIRP (Center for International and Regional Policy) from St. Petersburg. The conference continued the conference serial organised by the Nordic Forum around the Baltic Sea Rim. Some 160 participants from 11 different countries and from international and regional organisations attented the conference.
