STETE's seminars, 2009Kosovo tänään ja huomenna
STETE organised an infomeeting about the current situation and future prospects of Kosovo at the Visitor’s Centre of the Little Parliament 17th December 2009. In Search of Dynamic Baltic Sea Region – The Role of Baltic Sea Strategy, Northern Dimension and Russia The next Nordic Forum for Security Policy "Freedom, Security and Justice - Common Interests in the Baltic Sea Region" will be held in St. Petersburg in April 2010. The kick-off seminar for the event took place 24 November 2009 in the auditorium of the Finnish parliament, in Helsinki. Förebygga konflikt - bygga fred STETE organised together with the Swedish OSCE-network s seminar on conflict resolution and peace building in Umeå Sweden in September 18th 2009. Tietoyhteiskunnan turvallisuus ja uhat STETE and town of Lohja organised a seminar concerning e.g. the relationship between civil rights and security in information society, Internet criminality, cyber war and cyber attacks. Georgia and Armenia - How does the transformation towards democracy look today? STETE organised together with the Aleksanteri Institute of the University of Helsinki, Human Rights group of Parliament of Finland and Heinrich Böll Foundation from Germany/Tbilisi a seminar about Georgia's and Armenia's current state of democratization on May 15th 2009 in the New Annex Building. Viimeistä viedään? - Turvallisuus- ja puolustuspoliittinen selonteko vuosimallia 2009 STETE organised a seminar about the new security and defence policy report which was released in January on 20.2.2009 in the new Annex building. |
