ROMA MINORITY IN ROMANIA AND EASTERN EUROPE

”Roma Minority in Romania and Eastern Europe” -seminar was organised by STETE together with the Embassy of Romania at the Auditorium of the Finnish Parliament House. The seminar was chaired by STETE’s chairman MP Mrs Sinikka Hurskainen. Special guest speaker HSH Prince Radu of Hohenzollern-Veringen (Special Representative of the Romanian Government for Integration, Co-operation and Sustainable Development) discussed the theme. Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Mr Erkki Tuomioja gave the opening address of the seminar. There were approximately 60 participants in the seminar. Enclosed the speech by HSH Prince Radu and the opening speech by Mr Erkki Tuomioja.
